Our Programs

Primary

The Lilac Montessori Primary curriculum is designed around the developmentally appropriate needs of our primary aged children – three years to six years of age. The program and curriculum is specifically designed to be individualized to the unique needs of each child, and thus allows each child to thrive in their own way.

All of the children receive private and small group lesson by AMI Certified teachers and assistants who are paying special attention to each child’s unique individual development. The children can work independently in the four main areas of the classroom (math, language, sensorial and practical life), while they build the focus, discipline, academic, creative and social skills required to lead a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.

The environment and curriculum have been shown to inspire a life-long love of learning in children, create critical thinking, promote independent problem solving, and stimulate creative and socially cooperative work. They lead and they follow, they work and they play. In their community, they learn what it means to care for themselves, others, and the world and environment around them.
