About Our School
Lilac Montessori is a small, teacher-led school in the heart of Escondido serving children ages 18 months to 5 years.
We are an intentionally small, relationship-based community where children are supported in developing independence, confidence, and a love of learning through hands-on Montessori work.
As both teachers and school leaders, we are closely involved in the daily life of the classroom. This allows us to make thoughtful, responsive decisions and build strong, trusting relationships with each child and family.
Our classrooms are calm, prepared environments where children are free to explore, follow their interests, and grow at their own pace. We value open communication with families and see our work as a partnership.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible community, offering flexible tuition options and welcoming families from a range of backgrounds.
Lilac was created with the intention of building a school that feels both grounded and deeply connected to the families it serves.

With nearly 20 years in Montessori education, my journey began while searching for the right environment for my oldest daughter. The moment I stepped into a Montessori classroom, I knew I had found my place. I went on to complete my
Primary and Elementary training at the Montessori Institute of San Diego, and have been working in Montessori education ever since.
I care deeply about creating a classroom where children feel safe, understood, and supported. Every child is different, and I enjoy the challenge of meeting them where they are and helping them grow in their own way. My approach is grounded in connection, consistency, and a lot of patience (and humor).
As the founding teacher leader at Lilac Montessori, I am committed to building a small, inclusive community where both children and families feel known and supported.
Outside of school, I enjoy baking, cooking, and crafting. I’m also a mom to two daughters and share my home with a lively furry crew.
Lilac is very personal to me, and I feel grateful every day to do this work.
